SUMMARYPOHE program - a modern training program is expanded to enhance students’ professional competence to meet the needs of employers. Therefore, this study was conducted to show the current testing and assessment forms and to provide some suggestions. The instruments used to find out answers for this issues was a questionaire on a sample survey of 200 first-year students and 40 lecturers of POHE program at Vietnam National University of Agriculture. Based on the results, this study briefly drew the following conclusions: the actual assessment criteria, basis for selection of the evaluation forms, the level of response of the evaluation form to study and career requirements, advantages and disadvantages in the assessment and effective measures to improve students’learning outcomes of this program.Keywords: Testing; assessment; POHE.
